Steampunk fashion has really gone mainstream as of late. Last month while at Dragon-con I couldn't turn my head without seeing someone sporting brass goggles. Below I'll list just a few stores online you can purchase some steampunk pieces.

Clockwork Couture

Clockwork Couture has a great selection of pieces to mix and match. Not only do they cater to ladies but also to the gentlemen wishing to get into the fashion. They are certainly one of the more organized stores online.

The Gentlemans Emporium

The Gentlemans Emporium has a wide variety of Victorian styled clothing. Although they have a small selection devoted to steampunk they do however have a lot to choose from. They even sale swimwear. You won't see that on many other steampunk sites.

Recollections

This website has a beautiful selection for women. There was few items I didn't want to buy. With a more historical look about their designs and selections they seem to be they place to buy from. Although the clothing is rather expensive the quality really reflects money spent.

Metamorphose Temps De Fille

This lolita brand is perhaps one of my favorite. The prints are not too sweet and they're always trying their hand at something new. My first lolita dress came from Metamorphose. It's perfect for the curvier girls looking into lolita as they make their dresses and shirts a bit bigger than other well known lolita brands. Also, in comparison to all the other brands I've ordered from Metamorphose is certainly the fastest when shipping comes into play.

Baby the Stars Shine Bright

As featured in the movie Kamikaze Girls, Baby the Stars Shine Bright also known as BTSSB, is without a doubt one of the best brands out there. This brand is actually equal to my love of Meta. Not only does BTSSB provide a storytale wardrobe but they also supply a line known as Alice and the Pirates with yes, you guessed it, pirate styled dresses and more. With classic designs and some of the most popular prints to date, BTSSB, is worth the pretty penny spent.

Angelic Pretty

Angelic Pretty has really taken off in the last few years. It's more expensive than both BTSSB and Meta. However, it is one of the sweeter brands and sweet is in. Frankly, I'm more of a gothic or classic lolita so I tried to find some more muted pieces. Although AP supplies some of the sweetest eye burning pink prints to date the classic pieces you can find are breath taking. Although rare and hard to locate within' the website once found you'll find yourself wanting more.

Neo-Victorian in a Modern Apartment

Lately I've been looking around for Victorian inspired pieces for my new apartment. Most Neo-Victorians can find some pieces at their local antique shops or junk store if they look hard enough. However, for those of us who prefer to shop online this can be a somewhat daunting task. Here are a few of my personal picks.

Urban Outfitters has a wonderful selection of modern meets Victorian textiles and furniture. What I really enjoy about their selection is the fact you can match several pieces as shown above making my life easier when decorating.

Target has a great selection of Victorian inspired pieces also. Not only are you able to find great lighting solutions but you can also find lovely damask print bedding. Certainly one of my top picks when looking for affordable Neo-Victorian living decor.

If your not as concerned about the price but more the design then MetroSofa might work for you. Metro certainly offers a lovely mix of modern meets Victorian with their material and print selection when working with furniture.
